Ryukyu Awamori Kariyushi is a great traditional product from Okinawa's oldest Awamori maker Shinzato Shuzo (Est. 1846). It is the oldest Awamori maker that still exists in Okinawa. In the old times, old Ryukyu government allowed only 30 selected artisans to make Awamori and Shinzato's ancestor was one of 30. Shinzato's aim is to make a rich, mild and sweet Awamori for everyone to enjoy. In a warm climate Okinawa, they ferment rice in a low temperature with extra care to pull up fruity fragrance and mildness in flavour. As a result, Ryukyu Awamori Kariyushi has become one of the most popular Awamori from Okinawa. Kariyushi means Celebration in Okinawa. This one will be a nice gift idea for celebration.
"Umeshu" is a fruit liquor representative of Japan, which is brewed with great care by a sake brewery by soaking plums in shochu or sake. Plum wine (Umeshu) with a faint acidity, rich aroma, and relatively low alcohol content is a very popular and easy-to-drink liquor.
A fruit liqueur is made mainly from fruit pulp, peel, and juice.
