Wine description :

Yellowish orange color. There is also a slight pink nuance. It has good clarity and shine. The disc is slightly thick and has medium viscosity.

The volume is rich and sweet, with notes of lilies, cute white flowers, quince, cotton candy, and white asparagus, giving a fresh and clean impression.

Smooth attack. Sharp acidity is abundant, but the balance with the slight sweetness softens the edges. Rich and fresh fruitiness. Tannins derived from the skins and seeds from the red wine brewing add an accent, with a bitter taste spreading towards the end. Medium-light body, medium-dry.

It has a refreshing and fresh style, but also has the complexity that comes with red wine. It goes well with fatty grilled fish such as salmon and yellowtail, and sweet Japanese dishes.

Style; Orange wine?
Although it is called orange wine, it is not a wine made from oranges. It is a genuine white wine made only from grapes.
Normally, white wine is made by immediately squeezing the juice from the grapes, resulting in a clear wine, but this orange wine is made by soaking white wine varieties in the skins and juice, just like red wine, so that the flavor and color of the skins are reflected in the wine.
Because the juice is in contact with the skins for a long time, only carefully selected grapes are used.

Features of Dela Gris

The product name "Dela Gris" is a combination of Delaware and Grsi (Gris: French for gray), and refers to the slightly brownish-purple color of the Delaware grapes' skin.
Many white wines made with Delaware grapes have a fruity, easy-to-drink taste, but this Della Gris extracts the flavor of the skin, giving it a slightly different accent than regular white wine.
In terms of food pairing, it is more like rosé wine than white wine, and can be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes, including spicy Indian and Chinese cuisine, and teriyaki.
