This is another great product from Oimatsu Shuzo, one of the original shochu distillers as well as sake brewers in Oita prefecture for over 200 years. Different from Enma 25 (red label), Kuro Enma 25 (black & gold label) is not stored in a barrel but takes more time and skills at its production stage. Using black koji (mould) and 100% of barley, gone through Oimatsu original yeast making for two separate times, Kuro Enma 25 comes out with a wide range of umami flavour. Surprisingly, it has both crisp and sweetness in one with sharp finishing. You will never get bored of this taste once you start it.
