Daiyame is a fitting tribute to Hamada Distillery's150 years of history, made from "Koujuku-imo" sweet potatoes. Our unique aging process results in a rich aroma reminiscent of fresh lychees, and the full flavor is revealed when soda water is added. Having won the top prize in the shochu distilled spirits category at the 2019 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) in London, Daiyame is a testament to the distillery's techniques.
