Sake description :
Kuzuryu Junmaishu is the first junmai sake introduced to the world by Kokuryu Sake Brewery. Made with 65% polished Fukui Prefecture’s Gohyakumangoku rice, it is fermented at low temperatures, preserving the rice's natural flavor while achieving exceptional drinkability. It has a smooth, velvety texture with no sharp edges, and its gentle acidity harmonizes with the calm, savory taste of junmai. The aroma is reminiscent of fresh, sweet melon—subtle and elegant. When served warm, a "hitohada-kan" (around 35°C) is ideal. Warming the sake enhances the richness of the rice's flavor and leaves a cozy, lingering aftertaste, all in perfect balance. This versatile junmai sake pairs well with any dish and is enjoyable both chilled and warm. It embodies the crisp, smart flavor characteristic of Kokuryu. Kokuryu sake is brewed using the soft underground water sourced from the Kuzuryu River, which flows near the brewery. The "Kuzuryu" line is a special brand named after this river, reflecting its unique origins.
九頭龍 純米酒は黒龍酒造が初めて世に出した純米酒です。 精米歩合65%の福井県産五百万石を低温にて発酵させ、米の風味を残しつつ、非常に飲みやすく仕上げた純米酒です。 さらりとカドの無い滑らかな舌触り、純米の旨みのある落ち着いた香味とまろやかな酸味がやさしく沁みてきます。 香りはみずみずしく甘いメロンを思わせますが、いたって清楚で控え目な佇まいです。 お燗の場合の温度は人肌燗(35℃位)が最適でしょうか。 温めることでふくよかになる米の旨み、温もりある味わいの余韻、それらが絶妙なバランスをみせます。 合わせる料理を選ばない「冷や良し、燗良し」の美味しい日々の純米酒、キレ良くスマートな黒龍らしい風味を楽しんで頂けます。 黒龍の蔵の近くを流れる九頭龍川の伏流水を仕込み水にして黒龍のお酒は醸されます。 九頭龍(くづりゅう)はその名を由来とした別格ブランドです。
