Hinomaru Whisky – The 1st Edition
Marking 200 years of sake brewing, Kiuchi Brewery embarks on a new journey with "Hinomaru Whisky." Using locally grown barley, wheat, and rice from Ibaraki, several unique whiskies were distilled at both the column still Nukada Distillery and the pot still Yasato Distillery, then matured at the eastern base of Mt. Tsukuba.
This first edition offers a refined balance of aromas and flavors—gentle citrus, candied peel, burnt orange, milk chocolate, and soft cinnamon spice. A promising debut from an exciting new chapter in Japanese whisky.
