Wine description :
Crafted from locally grown grapes, this wine is made without any preservatives or filtration, preserving its natural complexity and vibrant fruit flavors. With a hint of cloudiness and a light effervescence, it offers the fresh, unfiltered essence straight from the cellar. You may notice sediment or natural crystals, which are a result of the wine’s organic components. Please chill well before opening, as it may overflow slightly.
A delicately pink and yellow-hued, clear sparkling wine with a light sediment at the bottom of the bottle. As you sip, the wine may turn slightly cloudy—completely natural and healthy. Light-bodied with a gentle
A delightful burst of Delaware grapes, with rich notes of white peach, apple, and citrus. A hint of mint and chervil adds a refreshing touch to the crisp acidity.
A pleasant fizz greets you with the first sip, offering a refreshing impression. Contrary to the sweet aroma, this wine surprises with bright acidity that spreads across the palate. A hint of bitterness adds to its charm, making it a light, crisp, and easy-to-drink dry wine.
As the season changes, even those who don't usually drink wine may find more occasions to enjoy a glass. This wine is highly recommended for such moments, especially as the perfect bottle to toast with. It has a delightful aroma of sweet fruits, with a crisp yet balanced flavor that's light and easy to drink. It pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, such as foil-baked salmon and mushrooms, chèvre cheese and apple salad, or marinated turnips.
Petillant Naturel
This sparkling wine undergoes a natural fermentation process within the bottle, allowing the carbon dioxide produced by the yeast to infuse the wine. Unfiltered and without disgorgement, it retains grape sediment, giving it a unique, cloudy appearance and distinctive flavor profile.
What is Tegumi
Upon stepping through the entrance, that familiar phrase echoes, evoking a mix of envy and admiration.
Is it possible to create a wine that rivals beer—something simple yet robust, easy to enjoy from the very first toast? We wanted to craft a delightful wine free from sulfites!
After two years of dedication and experimentation, we proudly introduce “Tegumi,” a naturally sparkling, unfiltered wine made without added sulfites. Returning to the roots of winemaking, we emphasize the quality of our ingredients, carefully managing oxidation during juice processing.
Led by female winemaker Ueki, every step—from yeast selection to rapid fermentation and precise bottling—is executed with meticulous care. “Tegumi” features delicate bubbles and a hazy appearance, delivering a flavor that is both straightforward and intriguingly complex.
The name “Tegumi” reflects our commitment, as each bottle of our first vintage was filled by hand directly from the tank.
