Origin
Kameno-O rice is the ancestor of most of the rice that exists today, such as Koshihikari, Sasanishiki, and Akitakomachi.
Characteristic
During the year 1950 It was widely cultivated for its good taste, but it gradually disappeared because they were difficult to grow and did not match modern farming methods that use pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Due to its difficulty in cultivating, Kameno-O rice has become phantom rice.
Sake Quality
It is characterized by its deep richness and smooth taste. It has a sharp texture that slides into your mouth, and after you swallow it, there is a lingering finish that tickles your nose.
