Founded in 1540 (Tenbun 12), this historic sake brewery is the oldest and most renowned in Nagano. Originally known as 千野 Brewery, the name was changed to 酒千蔵野 Shusenkurano following the previous president’s retirement. Today, under the leadership of Mariko Chino, Japan's pioneering female toji (brewer), the brewery continues to uphold its rich tradition while crafting sake using locally grown rice, offering a true taste of Nagano's heritage.
