Established in 1874, Nakano Brewery is located in Kitsuki City, Oita prefecture, The last remaining sake brewery in Kitsuki City, a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site. A tangible cultural property where classical music is played.
Crafting sake uing only the finest natural water from 200 meters below our brewery that has won the highest gold award at Monde Selection for three consecutive years, and locally sourced sake rice ingredients.With only eight employees, the new brand “Chiebijin-ちえびじん” was launched in 2009 under the leadership of Atsuyuki Nakano, the sixth president.
In the background of this brand is a strong desire to produce delicious junmai sake and a desire to make the younger generation discover the wonders of sake.
