This Hokkaido Kerner is standard dry white wine. It carried out the continuation award in Japan Wine Competition for ten years. Kerner was bred by German scientists in 1969 and it is a cross between Trollinger and Riesling. It is ideal for the cool growing climate and mainly grown in Yoichi, Hokkaido. Fermented at well-controlled lower temperature, it creates fresh aroma of a tasty blend of citrus fruits with pleasant amount of acid and fine dryness. Great to pair with fish and shellfish or dishes that go well with lemon.
