Rihaku Tokubetsu Junmai Yamatano Orochi Namazake

Namazake (un-pasteurised sake) from Rihaku Shuzo, Shimane Japan. Shimane prefecture is considered to be the birthplace of sake, because it has a rich tradition connected to sake which goes all the way back to the Japanese myths. Yamatano Orochi is a serpent-dragon with eight heads and eight tails in a Japanese myth.

This spicy and solid sake was created with an inspiration of the strength of Yamatano Orochi in a decent traditional method. It is dry, clear with umami, and smooth texture. Great to have it chilled.

This premium sake is very temperature sensitive and is to be handled at low temperatures. Because of this, it is directly imported from Japan in Chilled condition.
