New release from Kyoto, Fushimi’s well established brewery KIZAKURA, “Yellow Cherry Blossom”.

In fact, a president of KIZAKURA told me about this sake at my last visit, saying The taste is almost similar to DASSAI !

Indeed, juicy & fruity aroma such as fresh strawberry & white peach, gentle attack on your front palate then layers of richness & sweetness with fair amount of acid towards the end. Using 100% Yamadanishiki rice polished down to 50%.

Drink Chilled only and perfectly matching with Fatty Tuna Sashimi or Scallops.

Hot (liquor degree +5), alcohol frequency 16-17 degrees.
“Slow food Japan hot sake contest 2012″ gold medal receiving a prize!
This time “Kasumitsuru (Kimoto/karakuchi)” was awarded a gold medal in the liquor department of Japan’s largest GokujoKanzake contest ” Slow Food Japan Contest 2012″(Organized by Slow Food Japan sake Cultural Institute).

Liquor of 125 points was exhibited in the best Kanzake department.
Kasumitsuru was examined from the liquor which made the warming that 40 – 45 degrees Celsius applied, with the price of 1,000 yen – 3,000 yen was chosen as a gold medal wonderfully.

“The honor that is the best in a Kimoto/Yamahai section”
In international sake challenge 2011 Kimoto/Yamahai section, Kasumitsuru won the highest award that was the best honor “KimotoKarakuch”.
Water, rice of Tajima(The middle of Japan), and the skill of Tajimatoji are approved proof in the world.
Good full-bodied taste and refreshed feeling taste with Kimoto original stands out.
It is a confidence product of the Tajima style Kimoto.

 

~ Kasumitsuru Company ~

Fusuma picture of the Kameisan Daijyo-ji temple in the Kasumitsuru birthplace of Kasumi District is one that has been manufactured by the master painter Maruyama Okyo and its sept in the late Edo period.
All 165 points are appointed to the important cultural property of the country and are called another name “Okyodera”.
Kasumitsuru is said the liquor which cheered up a heart of Okyo and his disciples which left Kyoto distantly in those days.

Founded in 1725, this year in celebrating 289 years.In December, 1945, it merges with the brewer three persons of the neighborhood.
Big Fukumoto brewing ground of the scale, Seizo Fukumoto takes office as a representative director.
Postwar reconstruction later, there was also time painful in terms of sales by the stronger of “Nada” brand-oriented. However, sales volume has increased from the 1975′s by continuing and strengthening the management policy of quality-oriented.
We consolidated a position as a local liquor of Tajima, too.
Then, aiming at further growth, and fully transferred to Ohara Kasumi District of October 2003 are here, we aim to strengthen high-value-added product development and corporate power.
